- Researchers in a study found that coffee drinkers got an average of 1,058 more steps than they did on days without any java
- Moreover, caffeine consumption (up to 800mg) before a good sweat-inducing workout was associated with up to a 14% increase in testosterone levels.
- But cortisol levels also increased, with some studies reporting a 21.3% increase and another at 44%.
